Grilled Abalone
3 - 3" farm raised abs / person- cleaned, sliced in half and pounded until tender
Marinade
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
- 1 tsp dijon mustard
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- salt
Sauce
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 1/8 cup seasoned rice vinegar
- juice of one lime
- 1/4 bunch chopped cilantro
- 1 tbsp minced red onion
Marinade the abalone overnight. Grill over very hot coals for about thirty seconds per side. Take off and serve immediately with the sauce. Yum!
